Meet Lisa Higby Carboni
With more than 30 years of experience in occupational safety, risk management, and education, Lisa Higby Carboni brings a distinctive combination of technical expertise, academic knowledge, and compassionate leadership to Elevation Safety Services.
Throughout her career, Lisa has helped organizations identify workplace hazards, strengthen compliance practices, develop practical safety programs, and provide meaningful employee education. Her experience spans manufacturing, corporate risk management, higher education, and consulting.
Lisa previously served as Manager of Risk & Safety for Paychex PEO, where she led a team of safety professionals supporting business clients. Today, she serves as an Assistant Professor of Applied Aviation Sciences at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, teaching occupational safety and health, risk management, and ergonomics.
Lisa holds a Master of Science in Environmental Protection and Safety Management, a Master of Arts in Chemistry, and a Master of Divinity. Her interdisciplinary background informs an approach that combines analytical thinking, thoughtful communication, and genuine concern for people.
Through Elevation Safety Services, Lisa brings an educator's perspective and decades of practical experience to helping small businesses build safer, more confident workplaces.
